The Festival of Trees and Lights
Clearwater, Florida

Tom has performed at the Annual Festival of Trees and Lights in Clearwater, Florida. 2006 marked his eleventh appearance as the Festival Organist. During the Festival, he provided background and intermission music between the entertainment that runs continuously throughout the Festival.

During Premier Night of the Festival, Tom accompanied the Festival Chorus, and then began his daily playing duties the following morning. He played from the time the entertainers left the stage, while the stage crew was setting up for the next act and right up until time for the performer to 'hit the stage'.

Tom has also accompanied different performers as well as performing solo. In years past, he has provided accompaniment roles for Roberta Hoopes, soprano, John and Mary Kay Wilson and even the Clearwater Community Chorus. If there is a musical role that needs to be filled at the Festival, Tom can usually do it.

He assisted Bill Lofgren, Festival Entertainment Director, with sound and lights, as well as employed his computer skills in the Sugar Plum Shop Gift Area, making sure the computers on the Festival Network remained perfectly operational.
