A Photographic Tour of the RKO Palace.

Revised on May 23, 2006

Rochester's RKO Palace Theater was the birthplace of Wurlitzer Opus 1951. Opus 1951 was a 4-manual special of 21 ranks. It is currently a 4/23 which was moved to its current location in the Auditorium Theatre.

The following slide show provides you with a tour of the RKO Palace that opened on Christmas Eve in 1928 and became a victim of urban renewal in 1965.
