In 1974 this was my pride and joy.
Some of my friends gasped
"I hope everything turns out okay!"
The present stop rail was too small to accommodate 240 stops.
So I had to figure out some way to handle this challenge.
I cut out a large piece of chipboard and sat it on top, hinged at the back.
Some bolsters needed to be constructed.
Satin black paint before I applied two pack gloss, which wasn't successful.
My first time making stop rails.
I found out that it was not an easy job for a first timer.
The stop and new piston rails fitted.
Stops fitted and wired up.
The final result.
(Never did get to build the console shell)
The empty console (stops and keyboards only) went to a new home.
Goodbye old friend.
