Hello my name is Owen and I live in Canberra Australia.
Interest in Theatre Organ Music has been one of my main hobbies for most of my life.
Electronics is another one of my keen interests; so much that I completed a 4 year certificate course back in the late 1960s. This enabled me to pursue a career in electronics.
It didn't take long for my interest in the digital world to take over; in the mid 80's I completed a diploma in data processing and for the next 20 years computer programming was my profession.
I began music lessons in my early teens; we did not have an organ at home, just an old piano, which was better than nothing.
The organ was a 2m 12 rank Wurlitzer.
The pipes are now part of the Karrinyup organ in Perth.
Another interest was singing; being of Welsh descent I suppose it was only natural.
Many years of singing lessons and stagecraft, I appeared in many stage shows over the past 40 years.
In 1999, I performed my last opera and then I decided staying at home was much more fun and building electronic organs - what else?
"Fiddler on the Roof" was one of my favourite stage shows. This performance in Sydney 1982.
My Wife and partner Dianne, who is my source of joy and inspiration.
