Carolina Photographs
This is the Carolina Photographs Home Page.
Click on the burgundy compass (below, left) to return to this page at any
time. Click on any available direction to travel around the theatre in space
and time. The choices are simple, but if they're not clear, try checking
for help. The burgundy
compass (lower left) will return you to this page from any
photograph.
We start our tour on Tryon Street in front of the
Carolina Theatre.

To deliver maximum clarity of images within a "reasonable" connect speed,
the pictures will generally fit in a 1024x768 screen with a 60% browser window.
Some photographs contain so much detail that you will need to scroll the
image to examine them. If you are viewing with less than 1024x768 screen
resolution, you will probably need to scroll most of the images. You might
also "maximize" the browser window while in this section.
-
You may encounter a "dead end" link. These are necessary, for example, when
you go into a restroom or a closet where the only way out is the way you
came in. These links are shown with a black background.
