The console was originally installed at the Trianon Ballroom in Chicago Illinois. After removal from the Trianon, it was installed in Chicago's North Avenue Roller Rink.

When the rink closed in early 1998, Jim Petersen purchased the entire instrument.  In the fall of 2002, that organ was sold, and the console and a few choice parts were installed in the Bieck music room.

The pipework is displayed behind the music room window with shades located directly above.  A Wurlitzer piano is playable from the console.
