I am not sure about the current status of the Wurlitzer organ (Wurlitzer Opus 1996) that was installed in
St Augustine's Church located in Ossining New York (U.S.A.).
All I know is that in the summer of 1975 I was asked to fill in for the organist for a few masses
(I was only 14 years old at the time ) and was told that the organ was unplayable.
I am aware that this event happened over 30 years ago and I hope I am incorrect, however as of today's
date the church structure is no longer standing and several years ago the parish has moved to a new location.
After extensive searching on the web I found that the parish was given funds to purchase a new organ.
Sadly I do not have any clue of what happened to the old wurlitzer that I almost played.
