I have just purchased Op. 1097, an original, unaltered Style 260 first installed in the
Howard Theatre (renamed Paramount in 1929), Atlanta, Georgia in 1925.
I will begin a thorough, and historically sensitive restoration with no changes.
Vincent Rohloff of Dallas purchased the organ in the early 60s, built a very large music room,
but it has never played since leaving the theatre in the late 50s.
Some of the pipes are wrapped in newspaper from 1956!
