Opus 1079 Style D, Newburg NY

The theatre had no chambers so the organ played from the stage in a case made in the Wurlitzer factory. At some point it was sold to and moved to a Baptist church in Scranton PA where it was also in the same case. I purchased it in about 1967 and moved it to my home in Vestal NY. I built chambers the same size as the case. The case was removed in Scranton but the floor from it was carried to my home and screwed to the floor in the chamber. The organ was then installed in the same screw holes in the base. No wind lines had to be changed! (Except for the blower). The organ was sold to Q. David Bowers in 1970. He had it shipped to California.
