ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
From: George Perks, July 2005 (from Ebay FOR SALE notice)
Wurlitzer organ from the Liberty Theatre in Astoria Oregon, 1926 style B with
Wurlitzer and Robert Morton percussion.
Two manual console with bench, pedel board and music rack. (original and really
should be refinished etc.)
Pipework includes a
Morton tibia,
wurlitzer vox,
morton vox,
morton flute to 16'
wurlitzer flute to 8',
Tuba,
Morton Trumpet,
Salicional,
violin,
also includes a wurlitzer 3 rank chest that is a project with a
tibia and
clarinet on the chest that are of unknown mfg.
One morton diapiason and
one Wurlitzer Diapasion.
Maybe another rank but I can't think of any more.
The Morton organ was from the American Theatre in Spokane Washington,
The morton console is also included with bench and pedel boards (two) but no relay for it.
The organ is playing on a relay mostly Peterson.
All playing chests are wired with 50 pin quick disconnects so installing the organ
will be very easy.
All airlines are pvc but the joints were never glued for easy move.
The blower is a 3 hp with a phase converter currently installed to operate on single phase,
works very well with more than enough air at 10".
Included is another diapasion chest (unknown mfg) and pipes, (I think wurlitzer)
a homemade electric chest for a Kinera ( made from a set of vox pipes)
and other parts and pieces,
morton keyboards and bolsters.
Percussion included a
TWO wurlitzer Chrysoglotts ( both playing)
TWO Wurlitzer Glockenspiels (both playing) a Beautiful
Morton Marimba that has been rebuilt,
TWO Wurlitzer toy counters,
TWO bass drums,
TWO chime sets.
Two swell shades with operators,
Everything is A 440 pitch.
I am moving and must sell this organ project that has brought much enjoyment.
