This console began it's career at radio WLW Cincinatti, and was sent to the station in an unfinished condition, and someone got the horrors with the lack of veneer in the panels.....the rough wood 'finish', and decided to fill the panels with veneer and then paint the whole console to finish it.

This would account for the lack of any polish on the console, just a thin couple of coats of off white paint over an undercoat. This would also account for the poor fit of several pieces of veneer in the panels.

Sometime, wood 'carvings' (made in Italy) were nailed into the panels and gold leafed, along with the mouldings.

Later on, someone added a second stop rail on top of the first with Reisner SAMs.

The console will now revert to a single stop rail, 3 manual 10 rank Wurlitzer built up from 'Wurlitzer parts assorted' from various organs. It will be a beaut organ.......with a Style D .
