ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

From: Jim Pitts, February 2010

Along the way it grew under Herb's excellent guidance to 14 ranks and three manuals.

Not satisfied with the console appearance, Herb constructed a Wurlitzer 3m replica console with double bolster stop rails. It was on its original EP relay with the addition of another to accommodate the expanded rankage and a full compliment of tuned percussions and a most complete toy counter.

It has been in his home at 17833 Biehl Street, Roseville, Michigan for close to thirty years.

The Style D console has been replaced with a home-built panel style Wurlitzer replica and the workmanship is excellent.

My understanding is that the organ was enlarged in the Roosevelt installation as a second EP relay was added ~ and Head's final product consisted of 14 ranks

16 Tuba
16 Diaphone/Diapason
16 Bourdon
8 Viole
8 Voix Celeste
8 Tibia
8 Horn Diapason
8 Vox Humana
8 Salicional
8 Clarinet
8 Kinura
8 Trumpet
8 Post Horn
8 Orch. Oboe

With luck, I'll celeste the Salicional and add a Saxophone and the Kinura may ultimately become a Krumet.
